Schleich | Playset Design for Manufacturing

THE CHALLENGE
To engineer several new, complex toy playsets for Schleich's iconic Farm World and Horse Club lines, ensuring they were robust, safe, and optimized for mass production.

MY CONTRIBUTION
This was a deep, vertical dive into Design for Manufacturing (DFM). I was responsible for the complete mechanical CAD design of the playsets, with a core focus on the technical requirements of high-volume injection molding. My role extended from the 3D model to direct, technical collaboration with the mold makers to ensure production feasibility.

THE OUTCOME
Successfully delivered production-ready designs that met all DFM and safety requirements, enabling the global launch of several new toy playsets.
